Kit Hinrichs' Long May She Wave Exhibit Opening

Opening Talk with Kit Hinrichs – 5:00 PM

Please join AIGA Reno Taho in welcoming graphic design icon Kit Hinrichs back to northern Nevada for the opening of his exhibit Long May She Wave: A Graphic History of the American Flag at Nevada Museum of Art. Hinrichs, a partner in the international design firm Pentagram and AIGA Medalist will speak about the exhibit and his extrordinary collection.

Concert with Michael McDermott – 9:00 PM

To perfectly compliment the opening, AIGA Reno Tahoe presents an inspiring evening of music, with Chicago’s prodigal son, Michael McDermott. Known for his stirring rendition of the Star Spangled Banner, McDermott has performed on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, the TODAY show, the World Café and opened for artists including Van Morrison, The Wallflowers, and Joan Baez.
