15 Years of Type for Independent Minds

Curated by Erik Spiekermann and Jan Middendorp, FiFFteen is an exhibit celebrating the 15th anniversary of the FontFont [FF] type library. The exhibition reveals the far-reaching influence of FontFont’s library of over 3,000 fonts. From legible sans serifs to handwriting fonts and mega type families with matching sans and serif variants, FontFont pioneered areas of type design that are now taken for granted.

The exhibition will also feature FUSE, a seminal publication on experimental typography published by FontShop between 1991 and 2000.

AIGA San Francisco is partnering with FontShop to present this exhibit in the gallery in AIGA’s offices.
